Weekend Wrap-Up to come, but for now, I am anxious to share our completed patio table set! We finally got it moved over to our house from my parent's where I was working on it. So without further delay (and probably totally uninteresting to ya'll) here's our "twice loved" table set! (well, table twice loved anyways).
Now for a recap of how this project started/was completed.
As I said before, we’ve searched all over this town looking for a patio set that wouldn’t break the bank. We debated between 4 seaters and 6 seaters and finally I talked David into the big one. We looked on Craigslist off and on and David found one that was in great shape for a great price of $35! We went and looked at it and decided it would do just fine. Here it is in all its tan glory. Sorry-it had already been taken apart at this point.
I was fine with the tan but would have preferred a darker color. So when we bought the chairs, there was a choice between a blackish/brown and a tan. The tan would have been easy and nothing would have to be done to match the table, but if I got the dark ones (like I preferred) I could paint the table to match. And so I did! I used two cans of Rust-o-Leum’s Metallic Oil Rubbed Bronze and spray painted that baby. David did the hard work by taking the table apart, sanding, and taping so my job was pretty easy!
And here’s the final product in it’s new home on our back porch. Ahh, I can’t wait to sit out there with a mug of cocoa and a good book come winter time!
Oh and remember these?
Don’t worry, they’ll find a new home soon on the ground-level deck that we’re going to build:)
Oh its looks GREAT (as usual)! You are so Mrs. Crafty!! And I love the pumpkin centerpiece (as if I wouldn't notice)! :)
